Taraweeh will also commence tonight. \nThis Ramadhan\, like last Ramdhan\, is going to be very different than the previous years and thus is going to be a relatively new experience for everyone. With the limited capacity the masjid can accommodate due to the restrictions\, Masjid-ut-Taqwa has given priority to the neighbours\, regular musallees and those that requested in advance to attend taraweeh prayers. We are sorry we cannot accommodate everyone. We request everyone else to see if their local masjids can accommodate\, and if not\, to do their night ibadah and taraweeh at home. \nMay Allah keep us all healthy\, allow us to fill our days with worship and good deeds\, and allow us to attain His complete pleasure. DESCRIPTION:Alhamdulillah\, it is with immense happiness we announce that Masjid-ut -Taqwa will be re-opening on Friday\, June 12th\, in sha Allah. In accordance with provincial and health regulations\, Masjid-ut-Taqwa will accommodate 45 people for Jumu’ah salah and 25 people for regular prayers. We will have 2 Jumu’as in sha Allah. \n1st Jumu’ah Schedule:\n1:15 – Masjid will open\n1:30 – Adhan\n1:40 – Bayan in English and announcements\n2:00 – Khutba and Prayers \n2nd Jumu’ah\n2:40 – Khutba and Prayers \nPlease enter using the brothers side door and exit using the front door for Jumuah. For regular prayers\, the front door will be used for entering and exiting. Please note\, water fountains will be closed. Bags will be provided at Jummah time to keep your shoes with you. \nPlease do not pray or gather outside of the masjid. Maintain social distancing while waiting to enter the masjid\, and leave immediately after the prayers. \nPlease note that there will be no additional programs occurring at the masjid. \nAll are requested to take the COVID-19 self-assessment test. DESCRIPTION:Assalamu Alaykum Warahmathullahi Wabarakaatuh\, \nWe ask the congregation to abide by the following measures in order to reduce the risk of being infected and infecting others: \n\n\n\nPlease come with your own prayer mat\, a cloth\, or a handkerchief.\nPlease make Wudhu at home before coming to the Masjid\nThose with underlying health conditions\, elders\, sisters\, and children are to pray at home\nAll evening and daytime classes\, as well as weekend classes are cancelled until April 5th\nAll other classes and regular adult programs are cancelled until the first week of April\nWe ask everyone who visited the affected countries or places to refrain from coming to the Masjid and follow Public Health regulations\nWe ask everyone to pray their Sunnah prayers at home\nPractice regular sanitation to reduce the chances of being infected\nAvoid physical contact with others (please don’t feel offended if one does not offer to shake hands)\nIn addition to taking the above precautions\, please make lots of Dua\, Istighfar\, recitation of the Holy Qur’an\, and regularly give charity. All of these practices will Insha-Allah protect us all from calamities and help others in difficult conditions. This is a time for us to get close to our Creator.\nWe encourage you to recite the following Dua abundantly:\n\n\n\nلا إله إلا أنت سبحانك إني كنت من الظالمين \nThere is none worthy of worship but You—Pure are you! DESCRIPTION:Alhamdulillah the new moon has been sighted in San Diego\, California and verified by the Scholars of HCC. \nThus Sha’ban ends tonight\, with the 1st fast of Ramadhan tomorrow\, Friday\, April 24th in sha Allah. \nTaraweeh will also commence tonight. \nThis Ramadhan is going to be very different than any other year and it is going to be a very new experience for everyone. We request everyone to do their night Ibadah and Taraweeh at home. \nMay Allah keep us all healthy and allow us to do the best of A’maal and attain the complete pleasure of Allah. This is the time for everyone to make dua for the entire ummah. May Allah SWT give us steadfastness in Ramadhan\, accept our fasts\, prayers\, and all other forms of ‘ibaadah. May Allah SWT give us the opportunity to worship Him during night of Qadr\, and may he help us all continue with good deeds throughout the rest of the year.
