Alhamdulillah, the Hilal Council of Canada declared that Muharram starts on Tuesday August 10, 2021. Therefore the 10th day of Muharram will fall on Thursday August 19, 2021. Everyone is reminded that fasting on the 9th and 10th or the 10th and 11th day of Muharram is a great Sunnah. May Allah allow us to partake in this rewarding act.

Ubaydallah ibn Abi Yazid reported: Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him, said, “I did not see the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, as eager to fast a day and preferring it over others except for this day of Ashura and this month of Ramadan.”
